Feel free to browse through the site. Admittedly it's still rough at a lot of edges but we wanted to keep our promise to deliver a 1.0.0 version the week after T3CON09. We'll keep adding information regarding TYPO3 and Solr, and how everything will be set up.

What you see here is basically a showcase to demonstrate the power of Apache Solr. We've indexed three TYPO3 Newgroups - dev, english, and core - adding up more than 170,000 messages which Apache Solr search through in about 1-5ms (yes that is miliseconds). In a few days, after the TYPO3 wiki will be indexed, the search function will be ready for the wiki, too. 

With the relaunch of typo3.org we'll then provide Apache Solr for typo3.org to search all kinds of information sources, news, documentation, TER, wiki, and mailinglists.
